Excellent

I absolutely love this olive oil. I drink it every night and use it on my food as well. The flavor profile is rich and there is a bitterness that I find enjoyable. Excellent quality. A wonderful addition to my diet!

Potent

I chose this for its super high polyphenol content, hoping I could just take a spoonful a day. For me personally it is extremely bitter and I have decided to use it in salad dressings instead. Even there I can taste the bitterness but it works with a good balsamic to soften it up.

Hi Fi,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for choosing our Greek Kalamata Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

We completely understand your reaction—what you're tasting is the very reason this oil is so potent and beneficial. The bitterness you noticed is a natural result of its extremely high polyphenol content, particularly compounds like oleuropein and hydroxytyrosol. These powerful antioxidants are the very markers of a high-quality, health-focused olive oil, and they are what give this oil its therapeutic properties, especially when taken as a daily spoonful or in raw applications.

In traditional olive oil tasting, bitterness and pungency are signs of freshness and high polyphenol levels—exactly what many of our health-conscious customers seek out.

That said, we appreciate that flavor preference is personal, and if you're looking for a milder, smoother profile that still offers quality but with a softer taste, we’d recommend trying our Spanish Picual or Arbequina varieties. These still offer great health benefits but are more balanced and palatable for everyday culinary use like salad dressings or drizzling over dishes.

Thanks again for your thoughtful feedback. We hope you'll find a variety in our collection that best matches your taste and goals!

Warm regards,

Ultimate genuine 5-Star Olive Oil.

Polyphenols are healthy, essential, and nutrition-friendly to bodies. However, I found that nearly 70% of olive oil in the market is mixed with other oils, even though they all claim to be organic cold-press Vergine Olive Oil. After research, I concluded that "Greek Kalamata Extra Virgin Olive Oil | Ultra High Polyphenols" has the most genuine Olive Oil, and the level of polyphenols exceeds Dr. Gundry's Olive Oil. So, I got one, and the taste is the decadent, full-bodied, richest, deep flavor. This is, like, the highest prestigious coffee in the world, Blue Mountain from Jamaica. I am pleased to taste Greek Kalamata Extra Virgin Olive Oil with bread, salad, and other meals I don't use for cooking with heat. The price is high, but it's worth every dollar. I am very pleased with it. I love it.

The Best of the Best

As a family we use olive oil every day for our health. We have many other kinds and have found this to be the one of the best. It’s hard to choose between the Greek and the Moroccan because both have a great flavor. We like it so much that we have it coming in a subscription. Awesome product!!
