First, this company is terrific! I messed up the shipping address and they changed it quickly and kindly. Second, fig balsamic is sublime. No need for any other IMHO.
I like this ok for bread dipping (with a stronger EVO) and its good on a salad with a salty, crumbly cheese like feta, but think it will be even better drizzled over soft cheeses or baked brie, or heck, rich chocolate brownies paired with a full-bodied, opulent red maybe... I might even have to experiment with cocktails :)
The fig vinegar is my new go to. This is my second bottle. I use it on fish, salads and more. The flavor is fresh and sweet!
Mix this with Georgetown's Greek EVOO and pour over a fresh salad, serve with a MR Ribeye Steak and your eyes will roll back into your head☺- Lord have mercy!!!!!
I like regular balsamic vinegar. I’ve been trying to eat healthier by eating a salad for lunch everyday with nuts, avocado, berries, and a little balsamic vinegar and olive oil. The carbs can really very on these vinegar types. I ran across this one for 3 carbs. In addition, it seems to be naturally sweet and less tart which I very much prefer. I also love figs but haven’t been eating them do to being on a low carb diet. Also, I bought a little spout to go with it. It works great! I just wish I had bought the largest size bottle. I guess that will be next time. Try this if you like figs and balsamic. It’s a win-win!
